ANDOVER’s first-ever Carers Hub event took place in the city center last week, offering support and advice to people with caring responsibilities.
The Princess Royal Trust for Hampshire Carers and Andover Primary Care Network held the center at the Chantry Centre.
The Carers Hub is a central point where many agencies come together to offer support, advice, information and guidance to all carers. It was the first of a number of events held in the city.

Caregivers can access relevant information to meet their needs and the needs of the person they are caring for. This can make a huge difference, as many carers find it difficult to navigate the maze of services and entitlements and lack financial and practical support.
Health and social service professionals followed. Light refreshments were provided by Tesco Extra and Boswells Café.
