China’s Chengxiang Millennial Ancient City LOGO Design Global Solicitation Begins

To motivate participants, the organizer of this event Chengxiang City almost came out 200,000 RMB to reward creators of excellent works. There will be a first prize winner who will receive 120,000 RMB in cash prizes, two second prize winners who will receive 20,000 RMB in prizes respectively, three third prize winners who will receive 10,000 RMB in prizes respectively and 20 nominees who will receive certificates of honor, according to the Qingbaijiang district government.

The ancient town of Chengxiang is located in the northeast of Chengdua southwestern metropolis China. It has a long history of 1,600 years, next to Sanxingdui Museum and Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This event aims to create a recognizable cultural tourism brand for Chengxiang Ancient Town through visual symbols, promote the history, culture, delicacy, scenic beauty and other tourism resources of the millennial city and to show the charm of this thousand-year-old oriental city to the world. .


I. Identifiability: A separate theme is required for the design, with the cultural elements and thematic elements of Chengxiang Ancient Town as the core. The brand new LOGO design scheme should be easily identified and made public. All submitted works must be composed of the full Chinese and English name of “Chengxiang Ancient Town” and the basic LOGO combination (LOGO must comply with Chinese laws and regulations).

II. Practicability: The application of LOGO elements can be extended, with a lot of image expression and artistic appeal, and can be applied to the overall image combination and a variety of applications, including sample d application of derivative products such as full area guidance, exhibits, signage, advertising materials, digital media and basic materials (such as paper cups, umbrellas and filing bags).

III. Originality: All works submitted must be the original works of the submitters, and the submitters bear full legal responsibility for the copyright of the submitted works. If the work contains a counterfeit, the designers will bear all damages caused by this fact. The copyright and right to use the winning works belong to the collecting party.

IV. Versatility: Design work should be able to be used and disseminated in a variety of occasions, materials, and mediums.

V. Globalization: Design works should be fashionable and modern, suitable for advertising, marketing and promoting Chengxiang Ancient Town in domestic and international markets.
