Important information for the Plymouth Argyle match – News

Plymouth Argyle are visitors to Jonny-Rocks Stadium on Sunday and our information guide should provide you with the information you need to see the game.

Kick-off on Sunday is at 3 p.m. and tickets are available to purchase online. Fans are advised to buy before midnight on Saturdays to save £ 2 on match day prices.

As our capacity is less than 10,000 and our standing capacity is less than 4,000, supporters are not required to complete Covid certification to attend the match.

We encourage fans to take lateral flow tests before going to the stadium and not to attend if they are suffering from symptoms of COVID-19 or need to self-isolate.

Supporters are also advised to wear a face cover indoors, on public transport or in high-traffic areas.

COVID-19 MEASURES

Due to the capacity of less than 10,000 and the standing capacity of less than 4,000, supporters are not required to wear our Covid certification to attend the match.

Fans are, however, advised to take a lateral flow test before attending, wear face covers in the correct areas, and not attend if they are suffering from symptoms of COVID-19.

A “red zone” is in place and can only be used by specific personnel. This means that the pitch, tunnel, patio, and player entry are all strictly off-limits.

Social distancing with players and coaching staff should also be maintained

The club’s safety certificate has been updated for this season and Gloucestershire County Council, the issuing authority, makes the following recommendations for attending matches:

• Use hand sanitizer stations on the floor
• Maintain social distance with other people outside your group as much as possible.
• Wear face masks when entering through turnstiles, indoor lobbies / refreshment areas, when leaving the ground and crowded areas (apply your personal preference to withdraw while seated)
• Follow the stewards’ instructions and any social distancing signs when moving around, leaving the stadium and using the washrooms, etc.
• Consider taking a side flow test on match day
• Do not attend if you have symptoms or are instructed to isolate yourself.
• Listen to all PA announcements related to Covid 19

COLLECTION OF PREPAID TICKETS

Prepaid tickets for the Autovillage Stand, Paddock, Tunnel and Prestbury Road End can be collected at the match day collection point in the car park next to the bowling club.

Tickets for the Colin Farmer Stand can be picked up at the new ticket office located just outside the Parklands turnstiles. We advise fans to arrive early to pick them up as we expect this area to be occupied before kick-off.

Away supporters can collect their tickets at the entrance to the Hazlewoods booth where they will be located during the match.

SALE OF MATCH TICKETS

The best and cheapest way to buy tickets for all home matches is before match day. For supporters wishing to buy on the day, the following points of sale will be open:

Autovillage stand – seats for these areas of the stadium can be purchased at the ticket office.

Colin Farmer Stand – tickets for this stand are now sold out for the game

Terrace tickets – standing tickets in the Optimizing IT Stand, Paddock, Tunnel and Canteen enclosures will be on sale at the point of sale on match days in the car park.

Cash or credit / debit cards will be accepted. No payment will be accepted at the turnstiles.

The ticket office is open before kick-off.

BAY WHEELCHAIR MAIN STAND

A new covered window for wheelchairs has been installed between the Autovillage stand and the start of the earthworks of the Optimizing IT stand.

BARS

Following the recent change in covid restrictions, a number of new rules have been introduced for the Robins Nest and Hospitality Zones:

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory to enter or move around the building
  • There will be a queue system in place to prevent people from crowding into the bar
  • Table service will be operational for food and drink orders
  • Plastic glasses will be used for those who wish to drink outside
  • No outside supporters will be admitted to the Robins Nest

There is a new outdoor bar outside the Robins Nest which can be used with the main bar open before and after the game serving drinks and snacks – card payments will be accepted.

Fans can no longer leave the field at half-time to reach the bar.

The Robins Retreat will be set up in the parking lot next to the ticket and pick-up outlets also offering their popular menu.

MATCH SCHEDULE

You can buy a copy of the match schedule throughout the stadium for £ 3.

We look forward to welcoming you to Jonny-Rocks Stadium on Sunday and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
