Rotherham United kick off their 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship campaign with a visit to Swansea City at AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday 30 July at 3pm.
Before the match, we would like to remind supporters of some important information…
Don Street is open normally
We are pleased to announce that work on Don Street has been completed, meaning it will once again provide an in-and-out route on game days.
This will again become the main entry point for vehicles entering the stadium.
Pedestrians can continue to use Don Street and New York Way normally.
We would once again like to encourage fans attending this match to arrive well in advance of the 3 p.m. kick-off.
Having issued a similar message during the 2021/22 campaign – which yielded a more positive outcome with supporters entering the turnstiles more easily – we once again ask that fans arrive at AESSEAL Stadium in New York sufficiently early. advance and familiarize themselves with the new ticket scanning process at the stadium.
We would like to remind 2021/22 season ticket holders who purchased again with us this year, that last season’s season ticket will work at the turnstiles as previously announced.
The only people who will need new season tickets will be those who have either changed categories or changed seats for the 2022/23 season.
For those who are not yet familiar with the new turnstile access control system, we have produced the video tutorial below, which we hope fans will enjoy before they arrive at the stadium.
A limited number of tickets remain for home supporters, with no tickets available for purchase on match day for away supporters.
Ticket collection points
Fans picking up match tickets can do so at the following locations. All tickets will be held in the Red and White Boutique until 1:30 p.m., when they will be sent to the following turnstiles:
- All tickets purchased in the Eric Twigg Pukka Pie West Grandstand – Turnstile 8
- All tickets purchased for KCM Recycling Stand North – Tourniquet 11
- All tickets purchased from Ben Bennett Family East Stand or South East Corner – Turnstile 15
Elior UK encourages card payments at stadium hall kiosks
As we continue to work to speed up matchday catering services, our catering partners at Elior UK are once again keen to encourage card payments at the hall kiosks.
Although cash is still accepted, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage fans to use card payments, which remain the fastest and most convenient way to pay on matchday.
After taking note of fan feedback on wait times and while continuing to work closely with Elior UK, we remain committed to providing the best possible fan experience at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
