Key information about Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play battle royale game set in The Division franchise, The Division Heartland, has been leaked by the Ubisoft Store. Ubisoft was quick to take down the page, but Twitter and Reddit users were quick to share whatever information they found.
The leaked information about The Division Heartland was posted on Twitter by user Unknown1Z1. The user posted a short clip showing the game listed on Ubisoft’s official store, revealing new screenshots, cover art, and some important details about the upcoming shooter.

The description of the Heartland Division was as follows:
Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is a free-to-play survival action multiplayer shooter set in a small town in Central America.
Massive PvEvP in Storm Ops:
Fight together in 45-player PvEvP Storm Ops against a group of dangerous rogue agents, an aggressive faction known as the Vultures, while surviving a deadly virus.
Observe the battlefield in PvE Excursion Operations:
Complete PvE missions, gather gear, activate alerts and prepare the battlefield in Excursion Operations.
Progress and adapt to survive:
Play as one of six agents and choose between three classes each match, each with their own perks and skills.
The Ubisoft store also listed The Division Heartland’s release date as “coming soon”. The game was originally slated for release in 2022, and with a few more months left, that could still be the case. We also got to see a lot of Heartland gameplay leaks last year, but we haven’t heard from Ubisoft for a while now. Maybe we’ll hear something during the next Ubisoft Forward on September 10.
