Munster are back in action for the first time since October 23 as all eyes are on the Covid-hit Reds.
The province was forced to concoct a squad for the match this week after a Covid-19 outbreak as well as restrictions on the return of postponed matches from South Africa to the United Rugby Championship took their toll.
12 players and staff completed their isolation in Cape Town today while the rest of the traveling contingent also completed a period of quarantine this weekend and did not make it to Coventry.
However, Johann van Graan was able to name a competitive squad including Peter O’Mahony, Joey Carbery and Keith Earls as five make their Munster debuts from the start.
A total of 12 players will make their Ricoh Arena debuts provided Munster uses their substitute bench in the Champions Cup opener.
