Wick Information Center reopens – here is its new location

The Wick Information Center, which has served the Wick community since the late 1990s, has moved to the Garden Room, accessible from Beaconsfield Road, and will reopen on Tuesday, February 15.

The center operated from the portacabin outside Wick Hall, Wick Street, for many years, but the costs became too high.

The Wick Information Center will reopen on February 15 in its new location, the Garden Room accessible from Beaconsfield Rd.

The new location is located behind All Saints Church, which originally established the center as a community centre, and opposite Lyminster School. It will initially be open every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Tom Robson, chairman of the Wick Information Center Committee, said: ‘We were saddened when the costs of Wick’s Information Center forced us to revise plans, and Covid-19 forced it to close. for so long.

“But I’m glad the center is reopening again to continue to provide a safe, welcoming and helpful space for the people of Wick.”

Funding for the ongoing work of the center is provided by All Saints Church and a service funding agreement with Littlehampton Town Council.
