CHICAGO – Those concerned about eviction can find out about resources to help them at a free virtual event on Monday.
The town hall event will focus on providing residents in need with information on how they can avoid being evicted and stay safely housed, according to a press release from the mayor’s office. Officials will provide information on tenants’ rights, obtaining financial assistance and the functioning of the eviction court system.
Free financial and legal assistance is available for those in need.
